Cheques account for less than 1% of all payments, and that number is set to decline even further. Our partner who handles cheques has therefore phased out cheques in 2024. While we have investigated other options, we have not been able to find a viable alternative to maintain our chequing service. This unfortunately means that we had to close our chequing service.
We have stopped issuing BankWAW cheques on 31 January 2024 and accepting cheque deposits from other banks as of 15 November 2024.
