Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is BankWAW (WAW Credit Union Co-operative Ltd), ABN 48 087 651 787, of 11 Stanley Street, Wodonga VIC 3690 (“BankWAW”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
2. Eligibility
The promotion is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. You must hold or be willing to hold a BankWAW account.
Employees, directors, and immediate family members of BankWAW are not eligible to win a prize.
3. Promotion Period
The WAWlove promotion runs from 20 November 2025 until further notice. BankWAW may close or amend the promotion at any time.
4. How to Enter
To enter, you must:
- Follow @BankWAW on Instagram; and
- Tag your image post with @BankWAW and #WAWlove.
There is no entry fee and no purchase is required. Each tagged image counts as one entry. Entries that do not comply with the above will not be eligible.
5. Ownership and Permissions
By tagging an image with @BankWAW and #WAWlove, you:
- Confirm that you are the original creator of the image and hold all rights necessary to enter it;
- Grant BankWAW permission to use, reproduce, and share your image (with credit to your handle where practicable) for promotional or marketing purposes in any media; and
- Acknowledge that your entry does not infringe the rights of any other person or entity.
6. Selection and Prizes
- Monthly judging will occur during the first week of the following month
- One to five (1–5) winners will be chosen each month at BankWAW’s discretion based on creativity, originality, and connection to the WAWlove theme.
- Each winner will receive $200, paid into their BankWAW account
- If a winner does not hold a BankWAW account, they must open an account for the purpose of receiving the prize into that account (standard account terms apply - please check the Disclosure Documents for our Products and Services and our Financial Services guide to make sure this is appropriate for your situation).
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash in any other form.
7. Notification of Winners
Winners will be contacted via Instagram direct message (DM) using the account from which their entry was submitted. If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, BankWAW may select an alternative winner.
8. Privacy
BankWAW will collect and use personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Personal information may be used to contact entrants about the promotion and for BankWAW marketing purposes.
9. General Conditions
- This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram.
- Entrants release Instagram from any responsibility connected to the promotion.
- BankWAW’s decision in all matters relating to this promotion is final and binding. BankWAW will not enter into any discussion about their decision.
- BankWAW reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time.
- The promotion is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
