Not sure how to start using the new BankWAW Mobile Banking App? No worries! We are here to help. Remember that you need to be registered for internet banking to use the app.

1. Updating from the old to the new app

  • If you have your phone set to update apps automatically, you will find the new app ready for use once it is downloaded
  • You can manually update the app through the app store
  • You access the new app in the same way as you did before: using the same PIN code or pattern, or using face recognition (FaceID) or fingerprint if you had enabled these features. All your payees will be available in the new app.
  • In some cases, you may have to enter your customer number and internet banking password and set up a new PIN or pattern.

2. Installing the new app

  • Install the app from the app store
  • The information below provides you with a step-by-step guide to get started, or you can watch the video!
  • You need to register with your customer number and internet banking password and set up a new PIN or pattern.

1. Start the app

Tap the BankWAW mobile banking app icon to launch.

2. Allow/deny notifications

If you want to receive notifications from the app, please select 'Allow'.

If you don't want notifications, select 'Don't allow'

3. Welcome screen

Click Login on the welcome screen to start a tour of the app. Slide left to go through the screens, and then click the button to continue.

4. Log in

Enter your customer number and internet banking password.

Then click 'Continue'.

5. Set your PIN or pattern

You can choose a PIN or a pattern to log on in future.

Choose the one you prefer.

5.1 Set your PIN

Enter your PIN and then confirm it, if you have selected to log in with a PIN.

5.2 Set your pattern

If you have selected a pattern to log in, please enter your pattern twice.

6. Accept the Terms & Conditions

You need to accept the Terms and Conditions to use the app.

7. Enable fingerprint or face recognition (Biometrics)

You can enable face recognition (Face ID) or fingerprint (Touch ID) to log in, if your phone has this feature.

You can then log in with your fingerprint or face in future.

8. Success! You are done.

You now see a welcome message.

At the bottom of the screen you see the options to look at your acount(s), make payments or manage your card(s).

The three lines in the top left are the main menu, which provides an overview of all the options.
