Your PayID can be something you already know, that's easy to remember - like your email address, mobile number, financial account details or ABN, used in place of your account number & BSB details.
You simply add your PayID to your chosen account in BankWAW’s Internet Banking platform. If you’d like to add an ABN you’ll need to give us a call or pop in to see us.
Then when someone needs to pay you, you just give them your PayID – simple as that.
When you use a PayID to make a payment to someone else it is extremely important that you:
-
have the right PayID details for the payee who you are going to pay
-
correctly enter the PayID details for the payment (as provided to you by the payee)
-
verify the payee's PayID name that is displayed immediately before you send the NPP Payment.
What is Osko by BPAY?
OSKO by BPAY lets you transfer money in seconds and even make instant payments to other banks 24/7 including weekends and public holidays. Combine OSKO with PayID, and you can send and receive money instantly using just an email address and phone number – rather than trying to remember your full account details each time. You can make an Osko payment using a PayID through Internet Banking and the BankWAW Mobile App. All our transaction accounts are PayID and Osko ready.
How do I register for PayID and OSKO?
